BritishNewcastle Eagles has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Croatian Dubrava (4-4) 82-77 on Tuesday. Newcastle E. forced 19 Dubrava turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Maceo Jack (195-1993, college: Buffalo) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Deion Hammond (193-1999, college: Monmouth, agency: One Motive Sports) helped adding 23 points. Newcastle Eagles' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was guard Lovro Gnjidic (197-2001) with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Jure Skific (205-1988, agency: 011 Sports) scored 17 points. Four Dubrava players scored in double figures. Newcastle Eagles maintains twenty sixth place with 1-5 record. Dubrava at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with four games lost. They share it with Slovan and Sigal Prishtina.
